OMEGA Watches at the Met Gala 2023

Bespoke design. Provocative style. The prestigious Met Gala is like no other event in fashion. Hosted on Monday night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, this year’s highly anticipated theme paid tribute to Karl Lagerfeld, and once again showcased an array of creative and eye-opening looks on the red carpet.

Jonathan Bailey

UK actor and friend of OMEGA, Jonathan Bailey, is most acclaimed for his role in the record-breaking series, Bridgerton. For the Met Gala, the dashing star wore an OMEGA De Ville Trésor. The 18K yellow gold watch is presented on a green leather strap and is notable for its domed green dial with a Small Seconds display.

Nicole Kidman

OMEGA ambassador Nicole Kidman was amongst the stars who brought a bold flourish of glamour to the occasion. To accentuate her astonishing gown, she wore a vintage OMEGA Sapphette jewellery watch from 1955. This classic timepiece takes its name from the sparkling crystal on the face of the watch, facetted like a solitary gemstone. Worn on a black suede bracelet, it features a case in 18K white gold, along with a silvered dial, and an array of fantasy attachments set with eight round diamonds.

Eddie Redmayne

Also spotted was OMEGA ambassador Eddie Redmayne, who wore an Aqua Terra Shades model with a sun-brushed sandstone dial. The unique watch was a perfectly sophisticated choice for the Met Gala and features a 38 mm case and bracelet in stainless steel. The timepiece is also driven by a Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement for exceptional standards of precision.

Ke Huy Quan

Ke Huy Quan, one of the most prominent actors of this year’s award season, was seen wearing an OMEGA Speedmaster ’57. The Co-Axial Master Chronometer watch in stainless steel is a heritage-inspired timepiece and features a blue dial.
