Longchamp From the slopes to the city

Reasons to look forward to winter: the energy of snow sports; the cocooning comfort of glamorous après gatherings; the arrival of Longchamp’s Fall-Winter 2022 shoe collection, which captures both ambiances in an array of stand-out styles.

Inspired by the idea of an escape to the French Alps, Longchamp Creative Director Sophie Delafontaine played with vivid colors and technical details to translate the dynamism of winter sports. First up, a high boot in snug black or beige shearling with a sneaker-style, white rubber outsole and an upper edged with brightly colored leather. For maximum impact, wear with the season’s colorful nylon gaiters. Less sporty but just as stylish is a high boot in glossy black patent calfskin with a contrasting natural leather welt and a sturdy rubber outsole – an irresistible invitation to take the day in your stride.

Last but by no means least in the “mountain” section of the collection: fashion’s favorite hiking boot. Longchamp’s version is crafted from a combination of calfskin and lambskin in warm cognac brown, and is complemented by technical laces and a treaded rubber outsole.

With cheeks flushed and spirits lifted after a day on the slopes, thoughts turn to socializing by a crackling chalet fire. Here, too, Longchamp offers stylish possibilities in the shape of a sleek knee boot and a feminine sling-back, both in smooth calfskin with a graphic, silver-tone metal heel. The knee boot comes in timeless black and tan as well as lipstick red, while the sling-back is additionally available in powder pink. It features a contrasting back strap in natural leather – a discreet reminder of Longchamp’s artisanal savoir-faire.

From the slopes to the city, put your best foot forward in Longchamp’s Fall-Winter 2022 shoe collection.
